Carbon Addict
Finally picked the civic up last night. 1st time I've actually looked at it! Few problems with it but for the money I don't think I can complain!Headliner has sagged,Passenger door card material peeling,Lots of water in the spare wheel (don't think my friend knew)Needs a single tyre but will replace all 4.Few scratches and dents. No parcel shelf .Already ordered some new numberplates for it so I can start tidying it up. I've got a few ideas for it but nothing major as it is only my daily runner.Il get some pictures up tomorrow as it's dark when it get home at the moment, but I have a day off tomorrow for the 1st time in 13days! Krzys
Doesn't sound too bad! Check and clean the tail light seals, that should cure the swimming pool in the boot issue! There's a few cars being broken in the for sale section, check it out or send 10000rpm a message to see if he's got a shelf for you!
Carbon Addict
Cheers I can't mod it to much as I need to get the colt ready for sprint racing. Power is there it just needs a full cage and a few other things.Might have to look into coilovers though as one of the shocks has a light misting of oil on it lol. NIKH25
Headliner is not too difficult to sort, I've just swapped mine for a newer one, but you can whip it out and re-glue it or I was speaking to someone last night who said the guy who bought his old MA8 took it out stripped off the material and the glue and foamy s**t underneath and sprayed it black and it looks "awesome" apparently. Carbon Addict
I did toy with removing it and painting it black as it's what I did in the colt, I like a dark interior.Got some Matt black wrap left over from when the roof on the colt was done, will use it for the dash in the civic as it's got a fake carbon effect on it now. Carbon Addict
Il probably do it black as it goes with anything .It's got an induction kit (chrome hard pipe and cheap filter) that doesn't look like its ever been cleaned or changed! So now on the look out for a standard airbox and pipes. Picking up little things for it. Tax disk holder/numberplates/led bulbs.Do people use HID kits? Carbon Addict
It's a 1.5. Sport?Think I'm a bit used to my colts handling! Just did a mile in it and it's a bit sloppy haha. Oh well I'm sure a few cheap mods can sort it out! Good tyres would help! Are there any smaller oem steering wheels that are a straight fit? I'm used to a 330mm wheel so the stock one feels like a boat wheel lol.
