simpo
As long as it hasn't got the little Allen screws to hold it on should be fine.
Guest rallyeluke
I think the Vti-s ones are horrible, would much rather a dc2 style one. I have bought a few type R replica gear knobs off ebay and they have always been very good.

burbleboy
You may think a "gear knob is just a gear knob" but i have bought several over the years for different cars. The 'feel' has to be right when changing gear! I bought a Tegiwa gear knob for my vti-s but found it too sore on the palm when putting it into first gear! So bought an ebay special that is much comfier on the hand! Goes well with my red/black theme: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-5-Speed-Shift-Knob-Universal-Stick-Shifter-Manual-JDM-Aluminum-MT-Gear-/151120110300?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item232f75e2dc Coupled with steering wheel (nice n cheap) : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320mm-Calf-Leather-Steering-Wheel-Three-Spoke-Black-Red-Linings-Hand-Stitches-/261294537146?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cd65e39ba
Guest rallyeluke
Just bought that gear knob burbleboy... looks nice, I am normally dubious of those plastic insert ones but if you reckon it is nice I am game. had one with a plastic insert in ek3 sedan and it used to turn slightly. And the wheel too! It's a nice place to be now compared with how it began!

h4mza
I have one on my car but it's not an easy fit, you have use an adapter with the knob which is not patterned to screw it so had to push it and use force.
