Grant Posted May 13, 2014 Share Posted May 13, 2014 Rub the whole thing down with 600, primer, very gentle rub down with 1500, colour (however many coats) then a very very gentle rub down with 1500 or higher if you have any. That's what I mean by breaking through, as long as you take your time, do it gently and use plenty of water you should just take any roughness off the finish.
