weetec
this is half the battle,,, i got this box of a mate and am having it re-conned. the trouble is my mate aint got a clue which car it came from originally. and honda want an original registration for ordering parts. then honda want cash up front before the parts are ordered. sh!t..... all i know is the box says the usual s80-12345678etc and stamped on it is LSD E3D. might have to rip somebodys registration to order parts but i dont know what spec gearbox it is, as im told different parts inside for 96 /98 spec....double sh!t. any ideas??? Dave
I know theres a few differences between the 96/98 ITR's, but not sure on the gearbox. I'd assume the differences will be the ratios, and poss the final drive ratio. other than that, not much they would have changed. Maybe have a look on the ITR forum for specs mate
jalesi2001
Your Honda dealer shouldn't charge you for parts before they arrive mate, the two dealers i have worked at never did. You pay for parts when you pick them up mate, not when they order them. Cheeky gits....

weetec
the original problem is i dont have any idea which car the gearbox came from, all i have to identify the parts for the gearbox is the stamped code LSD E3D,S-80????????. now i have been told this is a 98 spec ukdm gearbox. i have taken various registrations from ukdm integras and checked with honda gearbox part no's to see if any parts are different.they are the same but not many can verify that these are the part numbers for this gearbox. if any 1 else can confirm it would be a great help. its the main reverse gear which i need.
