Chandler
you talking about rears or fronts? i have 16x8 ET 25 on the front, arch rolled with a hammer to take lip out and have no problems at all.i run 16x9 ET 20 on the rear with camber arms and rolled arches. if you get the arches rolled slightly it will be much better, even just folding the lips up to nthe body will help loads with tyres etc
Grant
EK does make em sit proper low! And the springs rates are all wrong for ours. Makes it quite bouncy on the back.
fyfie5
yeah that's the rear! does rub with hard cornering but not anymore since its worn away the rubber but I do have 215 tyres on a 7j that's the front.

Dexter
How hard is you suspension set up @Dexter? The pic of you poking your finger into the arch makes it look as if the tyres are veerrrryyyy close to the lip and the cheap ek coilovers on my deck do have a bit a bounce on them as I assume the spring rate probably isn't optimum for the weight of the deck..This is meant to be my new family but i that doesn't mean I don't want it to good (better) but when the babu arrives and I'm forever loading the car up or what have you I don't want to have to worrying about the tyres rubbing is all Not very hard, i'll be getting a new one this winter. I had a Koni setup before and that was way harder. Yes the tyres were pretty close to the lip but when the car went down camber made the tyres go into the wheel well with no rub. I snowboard a lot so the car is often full of people and gear. But if you can get your hands of an arch roller, definitely give it a go. Makes life a lot easier! dreadi
Would 16s be more a problem with then being bigger wheels? The et difference is only 2mm so I suppose that's not but would the diameter cause more of an issue?
Chandler
shouldn't do mate as long as you've got enough clearance
dreadi
So nothing is making my decision easier! Spend a bit more and get some sweet wheels that are 15s which I prefer or save a bit and put the ones I have one which are 16s that I dont like as much but still like!.. Chandler
save mate, its winter time now which means winter wheels
dreadi
Fair point. If the test fit of the 16s is a success I'll get tyres for them ASAP and crack them on I think. Shame though, the aluline alloys look sick!
