  1. You can get a free download of chrome off the net but its not the full version. you need a chip burner and reader as you will need to remove the chip from your ecu read the chip make the changes and then reburn the chip and then refit it to the ecu . Rich.
  2. Just use the basic bleeding technique until the new fliud comes through . Rich.
  3. There are companys out there that sell pattern parts for the accident repair business so you will be able to get non honda ones , i would start with ebay. Rich.
  4. You cannot wire the launch control to a switch as its controlled by the speed sensor , the ecu has loads of lines of map and depends on manifold pressure but up to 60% throttle it runs on a low fuel part of the map and adjusts small amounts through the 02 sensor . once you have full throttle you run on a high fuel part of the map .So there would be no point in 2 ecus . Rich.
  5. It sounds like you are talking about the front track rod ends . you just need to undo the lock nut and unscrew the track rod end no oil will leak out . count the turns you unscrew it and put the new ones on the same amount of turns . then get the tracking checked . Rich.
  6. I would go with driveshaft cv joint . Rich.
  7. I would have the wheels balanced , after that check the front suspension make sure you have no play in anything , after that i would say its the n/s/f driveshaft as they are a commen fault the bearings on the inner part of the shaft wear and lock up in the cup and course and bad juddering . Rich.
  8. Thats really strange you should have studs and nuts . What stud pattern do you have it should be 114 pcd . Rich.
  9. As already said the mb6 and mc2 rear bearings come as a complete hub and have a stud pattern of 114 pcd and all hondas are 100 pcd and the rovers are also 100 pcd The m series was only a uk model and we make nothing anymore that way it hard to get aftermarket parts . Rich.
  10. There are no bleed screws and they are a pain in the a*s to bleed up , take it back to the garage and get them to sort it for you . Rich.
  11. If the engine light has not been on there may be no stored faults . but the is a blue 2 pin plug on the passangers side of the car above the kick panel in a clear plastic cover just bridge the plug with a piece of wire and the engine light will flash once you put the ignition on . long flashs = 10's and fast flashes = 0-9 . then just look up the codes on the net . Rich.
  12. Its a rebuild job to fix it . Rich.
  13. I have had this before like you i changed everything ended up being the 02 sensor . Rich.
  14. It could be the o2 sensor in the exhaust . have you done a fault code check do you have the engine management light on . Rich.
  15. They dont because the states dont have a b18c4 . But all the b18 stuff is the same . as for sleeves agsin the start at 81mm and you bore them to the cc you want and then get pistons to match. you need to sit and read mate thats all there is to it .you need to understand what it is you want and then ring brice and trll him what you want . he was spot on with me and the service was 100%. Rich.
  16. These are pictures of my set up . the company i used where Alamo autosports and lad called brice yingling . There website http://www.alamoautosports.com/ Rich.
  17. That a good quote if they are going to cut the old archs out and weld new ones in and then paint them . Rich.
  18. For all the engine parts you will be best to get them from the states . I delt with one company and got the lot imported over in one go . It cost me about £2500. Darton sleeved b20 block (done in the states) Wisceo pistons 8.4 to 1 ratio Eagle rods Acl race big end and main bearings cometic headgasket Arp head studs lightened flywheel stage 4 ,6 plate paddle clutch hondata inlet and exhaust manifold gasket Greddy timing belt Rich.
  19. The standard rev limit is 8175 rpm i think . you can rev it to 8400 rpm not a problem but where is peak power . if its 8000 rpm you are just reving it for no reason . Rich.
  20. What more is there to know if it has better flow it will make more power , Its all about getting the air in and the air out . Rich.
  21. If you buy cams you will need retainers and springs as well if you dont you will get valve bounce they will hit the pistons. you will also need adjustable cam gears so you can degree the cams right. Rich.
  22. The box is the fastest mod and will give you a much better 0-60 . The head work and inlet will give gains but with mapping it will cost big money , Start with the box . Rich.
  23. Im going with everyone else i love the wheels . Rich.
  24. It will fit no problem you will just need the rear seat latchs that bolt to the body for the seat backs to lock onto as they are different . Rich.
