I would say 02 sensor as once you are over 70% throttle the engine is running on the map not the 02 sensor . Rich.

There are so many companys out there to buy service parts from . you want a cas or parkers or ebay for cheap parts , if you have the money go honda but any service is better than not service . Rich.

its so hard to guess noise without hearing them see if you can get a video of the noise . Rich.

As you look at the engine the is a sticker on the front of the gearbox next to the engine number stamp . Rich.

3rd that not worth just fitting the head as your standard inlet will not fit the exhaust manifold will but with the lower comp of the b18c4 you will not see the gains you are looking for . Rich.

you will need fuel pump , you will need a b18c4 or b16a2 complete engine and box with shafts and loom and ecu and you will need mb6 hubs and brakes then you will need wheels as the stud pattern is different . you would be best to by a mb6 or mc2 damaged that way you will have all the parts you need . I would say most people would be looking to remove the auto box and replace it with a manual box i know this does not help you but its more than likely the reason you have had no replys . Rich.

If there was no oil pressure the engine would be showing signs of damage and making noise for sure by now so im sure it will be a easy fix . Rich.

Its hard to say on something like this it could have had a paddle clutch fitted at some point in it life for just a faulty or warn out clutch only true way to tell is to get the gearbox off . Rich.

It will be the o2 sensor if its there on part throttle and then gone on full throttle then its the o2 sensor and the the car does not run on the o2 sensor over 70% throttle so thats why it clears . Rich.

The best thing is just to get the right one for the car i would go for a second hand unit rather than a new unit make to fit . Rich.

I have seen b16 on nos but i have never seen a mb6 on nos . i would like to nos one and answer this question . Rich.

It sounds like its new clutch time mate . I would pop a new slave cylinder and clutch fork on it at the same time . Rich.

Take the standard pipe off and get a braided line made the same as that , i have a company down the road from me that will copy any hose and make it out of braided line . Rich.

Is the standard oil pressure light on . how long has there been no oil pressure on idle when warm . as if you really had no or little oil pressure the engine will not last long at all. I would say you more than likely have a faulty gauge sender . Rich.

B18 unstable engine temperature on high revs

I would replace the gauge sender unit on the side of the head if you have already done the state. Rich.

Its usual 3rd gear that goes on these boxs i would say your clutch or slave cylinder is on the way out. Rich.

There is a plug on the pump test to see if you are getting power to it with air con on . If not there are two relays for the air con next to the passanger side headlamp and the air con rad see if you have power there .more than likely a relay or fuse down. Rich.
