  1. Anything to do with the airbag system you should always allow 20 min or so after disconnecting the battery. Rich.
  2. Ill take it its blue if it is its the service plug to get the ecu codes as already said . Rich.

  4. Ill take it the ecu is chipped? is the map on chrome do you know ? if so you could post it to me ill make the adjustments and then ill post it back .

  6. The p72 has knock sensor and the mb6 does not and the p72 has a oil pressure switch and the mb6 not both of these will put the light on , if you get the ecu chipped you can get all this sorted plus bridging some wires . the p72 map makes no more power than the standard p9k map so unless you are going for a custom map there is no point , Rich.

  8. This of thing is always hard without driving the car or hearing the noise , i would go for the long drive shaft inner half shaft the extension part from the box to the shaft that has a bearing on it and the can fail . Rich.

  12. Ali rad , nice intake . power steering i would keep unless you can get a non power steering rack , abs is a good thing but you could remove it if you are looking for a super clean look . nice fuel pressure reg , polished manifold , custom painted rocker cover and plug cover . poly bush engine mounts , silcon hoses . Rich.

  14. The c4 heads just do not let you make power unless you go turbo , the inlet is restrictive and the cams and head are set up for the twin stage iabs and vtec . so running them as a single stage , differant inlet and mapping hardly see's any gains well for the cost anyway . If you use a b20 the were to types the b20b and the b20z one lowers the compression and one raises it but the raising ones are rare and demand a good price , If you are looking to go b20 i would go with high comp pistons. large inlet , b16 head ,type r or stunk 2 cams ( must have retainers and springs for the skunk 2 set up ) B18 crank cradle and sump , adjustable cam gears , fuel pressure reg and a 255 fuel pump this will see you around 230 bhp with some good torque . Rich.

  16. Does not say for a mb6 would be worth an ask though http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PETROL-TANK-I ... 563ddd4a2f after that i would use a CAS or Pakers or and high street parts supplier Rich.

  18. Piston slap is hard to get unless the engine has forged internals , i would go with little end bearings worn and as they warm up the metel expands and the noise stops , if it was big ends the engine would not last long at all and would get worse fast . Rich.

  20. They are doing great deals at the min on it as im in the trade i can get it for £12 for 4 litres to me at the min . Rich.

  22. If you are rebuilding the engine you are best to bore the block and use over size pistons by 0.5 mm to insure and perfect fit the standard piston size is 81mm so you will need 81.5 mm . i would go with a 12;1 piston as there is no point changing them if you are are only uping the compression a little . I would use a type r head if you are after 200 bhp a the standard c4 head would need alot of work to get that sort of power , cheaper way is to use a b16 head and inlet manifold . Rich.
