    lesson learned

So my mb2 has been suffering from a horrendous exhaust rattle. I have been under the car to investigate the noise numerous times. I ended up gutting the Cat thinking that it was the internals that were fubar‘d. It turned out the rattle was coming from lil heatshield that was spot welded on to the center section. Doh! Morale of the story is always diagnose problems with the cheapest options first lol
  2. was a hard decision but eventually voted for dexter. oneday i will own an aerodeck vti!

  9. not sure if this has popped up before but came across this german forum. http://www.maxrev.de/honda-civic-ma-mb-mc-t1354.htm be warned there are some marmite mb's
  10. this is mental! would love to see some vids
  11. Get the rear wheels sorted and the car will look perfect!
  12. Loving the wheel choice. get them on!
  13. it did indeed lol. I remember one time a b16a coupe was taunting us. should've seen the look on the poor boys face when we left it lol It's not as bad as the pics make it out but it does make me think twice about how much i should get my car lowered by!
  14. Found some old pics of my bro's turbo'd mb6 so thought I share it with you all. Some of the older members may remember this car. Later, the car was returned back to N/A and he decided to install a 4.7 final drive and a helix 4 paddle clutch. It made the b18 more lively with instant power and impressive acceleration.
  15. As above and just generally maintain the body work by washing it correctly and keep on top of polishing and sealing
  16. I like the subtle drop. Where abouts did you purchase the PI springs from?
  17. So clean! Got an urge to clean mine now!
  18. Right guys, got a nice update on the car. Weather today was nice and sunny again so I thought it was the best opportunity to get the splitter sprayed and fitted. Everything was nice and simple which was a relief. Had 1 issue with a bolt seizing on to a metal braket/clip but managed to get it off in the end. Here's a few pics, Splitter was touch dry but not hard so left that alone and sprayed some brackets. Meet Domo-Kun Finished article
  19. Aye mate. Shame on the tax but its cheaper than my previous car so it's alright lol. Anyway I met James (psychodogbeast) off here and picked up a vti splitter. Brilliant guy and your mb6 looks mint.
  20. Just a quick update. Eml came on today. Found out the fault (p1337) was the ckf sensor getting no signal. Upon further inspection it turned out it was the sensor wire that has been rubbed through by the aux belt. I clipped the wire casing back in and did the ckfsensor hack. Overall It wasnt too bad and it Took me around a 45mins to do.
  21. Thanks guys. Yeh thats a 4x4 cossie. Lil side project haha.
  22. Thanks guys. Yeh the standard 14" alloys were far too skinny for my liking. Much better grip now.
  23. Hi guys, thought i'd show my face round here with my mb2. I drove a Corolla Tsport before this and although it was fun, the fuel cost was too much. So far I'm loving it, future plans would be lowering springs and a VTI front splitter when i can find one. I'm also interested in buying a stainless 421 manifold to make the engine bay look better. here's some pics. Thanks for looking
