Proper annoying broon, ill see how it goes and it decides to be fine again ill reconnect the siren,

Update I can get a non sat nav headunit for like 60 quid but it means no sat nav & i just got the new maps disc which is considably cheaper than a new sat nav as i have no sense of direction! Did the back brakes they were squeaking even worse this week, i found the pads were a bit stiff when in the carrier so a quick file of one end and copper greased everything, also pushed the piston out & back again which was fine. Discovered that the discs are not only discs but drums too! Never seen that before, was temped to have a look behind but ill see if it still squeaks in the week. Bloody alarm has started playing up, ive left the dog in the car loads of times & key fob locked it but now its decided to go off after 1 min and lock itself ramdomly which it never did before! So after googling ive disconnected the siren so i dont go def as its in the boot! Very odd the only things ive touched is the passenger rear door child lock but that shouldnt make any difference? Did the aux pulley, jacked up the engine, took the whole engine mount off and i could get a rachet on it, was easy then pics below.. Also my sister brought her corsa round, engine was rattling quite bad, i told her to check the oil and guess what there was none in it!! Looks like the sump has been leaking again so i retightened the bolts & a couple were not that tight, what a piece of crud that car is, i also sorted her headlights out, used t-cut & a buffer cleaned them up well actually she was happy, got to do her exhuast next weekend tho

For god sake yes i only sold the tina coz i had too for highier reasons!! lol Ive always wanted to do an all out fab track car but never had the right garage or location or car but i think my mb3 could be a great as i have it already lol

Well i only thought of doing it this week, and really i want to have the car on one side the side of the garage and all stripped & put on the otherside. Im getting our new house redecorated and proby will need to use the garage for storage till its done so it will have to wait tom. I rekon my sports interior will sell quickly tho!

According to parker the 2.4 had 187hp ? Still more than my 138hp lol

Broon they are aerodecks bit heavy and i mean non road legal off the hook modded 5 door. Yes krzys but i have my mb3 begging me for a custom build and soon ill have my double garage to build it!

I cant krzys as the whole thing is one piece and too big, i mentioned this to the bloke at the garage and he said u can buy a replacment facia panel but its £120 odd soo maybe ill have a look for a non cd changer unit with sat nav if possible..

I was in honda again today, asked the tech bloke about the tyres dave, he said honda are only recommending those tyres indeed, i said they were like £350 ? and he thought that was a gd price!? Anyway i said ive heard its bad in the wet and he's only driven it in the dry so far but i believe you dave, i also mentioned they only last 6k miles right ? The tech said they've had it 2 months with only 3k on it and he thinks they need changing soon!! lol but said they are waiting to hear from HQ if they can fit a harder compounds, would be a much better option! I also asked if say i fitted different tyres would that foul the warrenty and he said proby not but would be a quick get out cluase if something went wrong. Still doesnt put me off

The sega conitunes, went to honda again today even tho he hadn't phoned me, the pulley was there, just the ballache of changing it now. Gd news the sat nav booted up fine this morning and installed the new disc fine yay! lol The ipod kit on the otherhand did not go well, Burrowed a screwdriver from work but needed a socket & rachet doh! so i asked the landlady no joy there of course, asked next door he only had 4" adjustable thats no gd! so i decided to trek to the local machine mart and get a £3 10mm spanner grr, ripped it out, unplugged the power and plugged the kit in and no luck Phone the connect2 and he said go to honda & thay can plug in and 'activate' that socket. I phoned honda, the main tech who had been there 14 years never heard of such a thing! Gggggreat so no ipod for me stupid thing!!

Lol I thought i fudged up my sat nav yesterday, as the new disc was updating i had to start the car and move into a space as parking is a nightmare and the screen just stayed black! But the this morning it fired up and all is loaded with 2015 maps yay! Was soo stressed yesterday! If i can burrow some tools ill try to do the ipod kit again..

Thats some gd info, i did mention to the rep that i wasnt to sure as it was a 5 door but actually its fine, it works for me anyway. I would just change the wheels completely and have toyo's or rainsports fitted. As for seats i would get the non gt model which proby doesnt have back seats at all so problem solved lol Here's a sort of time attack/touring car pic for enjoyment!!

Im not sure if i was looking at the new civic aerodeck or accord estate but i wasnt keen on it, its better than the last one but ok.

More to add! Went into Startin Honda in worcester today to ask if they had any info or adapters for an ipod, they just reccomended me to this garage called W.A.S in worcester so i went there and the owner who had massive arnie arms lol he was a top bloke said it should work as it does say sat nev on the label but i said i didnt dissconnect the power from the unit and he rekons thats why it doesnt work so i will try that next but i better make sure i have that code!! Also asked about aux tensioner pulley, they sell the kit for wait for it..........£254!! haha but they did do just the pulley wheel which is what i ordered for £45! And they had the new trype R in there wowesers! it was amazing, the body work, the seats the quailty i deffo want one now!! but have to wait till november to test drive one & book it! Went into Startin Honda (worcester) today, to order bits and they had the new type R in the show room and wow its amazing! the body work, the quailty is just epic! Sat in it too and the seat really holds you firm, tho im not to keen on 19" rims but i was chatting to the sale rep, he said most of them will be a GT model but they are doing a NON GT model which will have less weight and techno crap on it so in theory should be a bit quicker! Of course i asked to have a test drive but they already sold the first one lol said they will get a 2nd one in november to use as a tester excited!! Here's a vid ive done of the brochure

Oh and ordered the latest 2015-2016 sat nav disc, im to fed up now having a sat nav out of date and it was only 25 quid!

Ripped the dash apart on sunday, i had to remove both bottom and top dash parts to pull out the unit, there was no cd changer plug to pull out only 1 empty slot. It fitted fine and started charging straight away but just didnt recognise it playing So ive messaged the seller and he will take it back but im gonna pop into a dealer see if they can shed any light on having a aux connection.
