Had a bit of trouble getting it back in the garage, exhuast got caught on the lip of the garage and so as its to heavy for me to push it had to be urm forced which resulted in a reverse burnout lol it was my first one epic Oh i did a quick vid of some revving enjoy!

Lots happened today, decided to get some fuel and maybe take her for a drive, got her started and with alot of exhuast scraping she DROVE off the driveway yay! the exhaust is so low it hit the already low hump you get in the centre of a road! So i get back to the driveway, stop and smokes starts coming out of the engine bay eeeek!, the oil dipstick was touching the manifold and was cooking the oil in the pipe oops lol ive bent it away from the manifold now. Next problem couldnt get it started as the battery was dead, managed to push it out of the road and maneuver the crv behind the tina to jump it to get it on the drive, for some reason i decided to stop the tina there, battery was still dead, charging it tonight to run it tomorrow! So i think i might have to get these GAZ adjustable shocks to make the front stiffer and hopefully highier to get the exhuast away from the ground!

wow really, i find that quite shocking, i would of thought an lsd was madatory for a type r !? That sucks, might start looking at other hondas now Getting tyres fitted tomorrow yay!

Thanks dave, its really been one of projects that after a while you lose intrest but soon as you start her up it wakes you up and you love it again soo thats why i make those faces lol Im on a few cortina pages now on fb and i see alot of sweet tina's and escorts done by harris performance makes me want a mk2 mexico. Hopefully soon, got to rewire the front horn and wire up the speedo, test the brakes and gearbox, go for some test drives so i can make it to the mot place lol

why would i need a extra gearbox & lsd ? arent all the type r gearbox's lsd ? Well if i dont get a civic type r i deffo want to get a accord or civic vti and build a beast vtec to go in it, like 300hp+ with no forced induction all motor as the yanks say.

for the crv or the type r tom ? I need something a bit lively and its a car i havent had yet lol

Today was the day, took the afternoon off, got the gearbox flat, bolted and filled it with fresh oil. jacked it down and rolled it forward! It took a bit of time didnt start straight away, loads of smoke and a dying battery but heres the vid! ENJOY!!

lol nah i still got a few meters left, its only to cover where the stater is, that will be ok Been having thoughts about the next project, i recently watched the mod max S15 episodes from might car mods and it really makes me want to build a mad max beast, im thinking getting a mx5, revome the shell, build a frame work and drop a LS1 V8 in there, crazy fun but its alot of work tho..

and now u can all see it haha Got the manifold all tightened up and wrapped it up looks good..

Finally got round to drilling the gearbox sump, made the threaded bush and prepped it for welding, also ive been having trouble jacking up the crv so my jack needed a certain boost on the jacking foot soo made this too lol The original jack foot.. New foot..

small update, made a small brass plate that goes between the 2 connection bolts on the starter, i decided that this was a gd time to put a sump plug on the gearbox sump, made a bush with a M16 thread, ordered a sump plug and im going to get new plates soon, will see if i get time to wrap exhaust at the weekend!

mine was pretty rusty, i snapped 6 m10 bolts off doing it lol was worth the 2 days straight hard craft, my body was shot after that! i always like the thought of a ca18det swap, lightier and bit smaller...

im still on MX5NUTZ on fb, it has alot of trolling but the other day i saw someone had done a K20 from a S2000, that would be a beast!! I assume it has the open diff in it, an LSD makes a massive difference and gives a huge smile but be prepared for alot of hard work to get the diff off lol!

haha thats quite tempting! ill find one day a chav has carefully used paint thinner and removed the O lol

he sold them to me mate lol i think they are easy £100 a pop here and postage on top, id say its the best tyre bargain ive ever had proby will ever have lol

he selling them as the load rating wasnt high enough, after getting them home i noticed on the packaging they came from germany, so happy with them!
