Took the old lass out for run around the estate, i can tell its lightier already and it handles better too lol even got some wheel spin out of my road without trying to much

Had a wee go at moving the locking rings on one of them and was quite stubbon, im not going thru what i had to do the D2's was alot of work! Asked for a full refund and ill return em. Lesson of the week, if buying used coilovers go see them in person first! lol

They are from stevens vw spares, they are used ones but in the pic they just look black and dirty so i thought thats a bargain. They are all rusty actually, tried a wire brush on 1 small bit & it cleaned up not to bad soo they can be used. Krzys i think there is 1 proper set and they are about 700, ive seen ppl ask makers to build them a set and that comes to about 500. Polo ones can be adapted for less than half the cost!

now that would be epic but a k20 alone would be 4 times the value of the k10! lol Coilovers came but a couple of threads are rusty which wasnt in the pictures or description so ive sent them an email and i hope i get a part refund back or i will send them back to them, just what i didnt want!

polo 6n jobbies, have to make adapter for the front top mounts and i think mill down the bottom joints to fit the axle damper slot...

I do like banded steels but they are heavy jay, i want to keep it lightweight so it almost floats away lol

Not gd enough tom! Got some slightly used coilovers possibly coming soon, making a call to get a deal sorted, so could have the lows in a couple of weeks! Tho i have to make them fit first lol

Bought some water proof seat covers for the front seats only £9 and took a quick pic of the garage atm, outside needs finishing, paint inside, afix a couple of ply sheets to the wall and build work bench
