Same as above, I'm not 100% on the colour, I'm assured by the dealer it's a lovely deep colour Being the Sri has 18" alloys, tinted windows, rear spoiler and sports suspension and interior
-
Yes, picking it up in 2 weeks so will be a 14 plate
-
Yeah, I looked at the Mazda 5, Ford S-max, and the VW Touran and they were all high The Zafira Tourer was from £299, naturally I wanted a better model with a bit more oomph, so opted for the cdti 165 Sri which is £499
-
It's a motability car so really depends on the advance payment required The AP for the Mazda 5 was £1499!
-
If it had been up to me mate, we would have only had 1 together 3 was manageable, 4 difficult, and now 5 it's mayhem Keep telling myself things will get better As for the Zafira, your right probably the best of the mpvs I'd prefer the S-max but they are silly money As said I would have loved to keep the mazda as a weekend toy but after doing the maths just wouldn't be able to I've got it advertised for £550 locally, have now for a week but have had zero interest, I think people are put off by the fact it's a V6 Don't understand it tbh as for what it is, it's good on petrol as is loads of fun to drive :/
-
Yeah she is, has to wait 2 months for things to settle first This is our 4th, the eldest from a previous relationship
-
With the new addition 5, so they're really isint any way around it Test drove a Zafira tourer Sri cdti 165 yesterday and for a bus pulled and handled pretty well
-
Well the time has come to move on, now the mrs has had the baby it's time to sell my soul to the devil and get a people carrier:( So the Mazda is up for sale at a silly need to get rid asap price:( Would have loved to have kept it but finances dictate otherwise, typical aswell as it just passed its mot with no advisories
-
If I was mine I'd leave it standard, maybe a nice set of wheels at a push I think it's cool to see an 80's classic how it came from the factory:)
-
Merry Christmas
-
Aye it's fairly nippy, quiet and smooth around the doors, so quiet in fact I have to frequently check as I think it's cut out Past 4k when the VRIS is open sounds like an animal Not a patch on a b18 on song though Exhaust is just a standard replacement so not much to look at really
-
Well fitted the 2nd hand exhaust I picked up for £50 (£183 was the cheapest brand new I could find) yesterday, Its like a different car, quiet and smooth around the doors, but past 4k sounds amazing Also just bought a Clifford alarm system with remote start cheap, will be getting that fitted in the new year:)
-
I actually did do that, was showing off to the mrs after I'd been trying to make it work, I said 'watch I can make the engine turn over from in the house' To which I set it off for the car to promptly lunge forward just missing the outer sitting room wall Oops:)
-
The low fuel light is something of a hit and miss thing on the M, some members it works some it doesent, I started a thread about it a while back as mine worked then didn't after I ran low on fuel
-
I could never get it to work, it would just turn over and never fire no matter what I did I went to my local auto electrician and he said it would cost a fair bit to sort out so just gave up in the end
-
I was offered a Clifford system with remote start etc cheap but passed on it as I didn't know anyone who could fit it reasonably cheap I once attempted it myself, never again
-
You'd think all the extras that it has that it would have a leather steering wheel, weird
-
Must say that is one awesome M The wheels really suit the white car
-
Tbh with the lack of exhaust it sounds pretty pants at the moment I thought it sounded awesome for about 5 minutes, then half an hour at motorway speed my ears were starting to bleed I will get one up when it's sorted:)
-
I don't have to lol, I've had vauxhalls My astra Sri and Zafira were horrendous in the mornings, I'm sure I had more lifter treatment than oil in at one point:)
-
Yeah they are £13 each from mazda It was on 117k on last mot in March, 122k now Most v6 owners just live with the noise:)
-
Aparently it was only 3 months ago, Oil does still look fairly clean and filter looks recent Might change it again after Christmas for full piece of mind
-
Funnily enough she didn't tap at all this morning and it was mighty cold out there Did do a 100 mile run yesterday though which might have helped I spoke to the previous keeper yesterday who said it's always been a little tappy on a cold start in the winter for a few minutes and he did an engine flush a few months ago and used decent oil which helped loads
-
Thanks mate, few cold mornings have made another problem present itself, although very common on the KFDE engine, noisy HLA's Was tap tap tappin away like a goodun this morning, till she warmed up a little A lot of the V6 boys swear by wynns lifter treatment with decent oil so going to give that a try Only on cold starts thankfully, I've heard them clacking away on warm engines aswell so could be worse:)
-
Certainly is mate, it was a guy on the 323f forum that's put me to them as he's already got a few bits from the car:)
