Nightmare mate, what pulley is that? I know what you mean when you say you've lost confidence, as it's happened just after you've got the car when a car has to earn a new owners trust if you know what I mean, your already on high alert anyway watching how it behaves and looking for any potential problems etc On a positive it's a very clean looking M and I'm sure once you've sorted the niggles will give you no more trouble, after all it's a Honda, just looks like the last owner has neglected her a little, as that belt has seen better days

Well I have looked into it, got a price for a catback with twin exits from powerflow but let's just say the missus put a stop to that one:( something to do with Christmas or something I've put the feelers out on the 323f forum but none for sale for the v6 at the moment:( even through they were ten a penny a few months back I've found a good 2nd hand replacement full standard exhaust for £50 from a breakers in Middlesbrough so that will do the job for now, till after mot in March It needs a decent exhaust system, as the standard one is ok but when it comes to the sound it doesent cut the mustard
-
Thanks mate:) Had an eventful weekend, the exhaust back box literally fell off on Saturday morning, luckily I was only doing about 30 so didn't damage the rear bumper, it just got dragged along the road as was still attached to the car by 1 rubber hanger Needless to say V6 with induction kit sounds pretty awesome with near to no exhaust Couldn't resist having a bit hoon around

They're not great tbh, my mb2 had the remote fob, but with being the old infa red style only worked close to the car, even with new batteries, I always just unlocked with the key Can't you not use a certain type of Rover fob and reprogram it to the car? I did bid on 2 but got outbid
-
Looks awesome, the wheels and gearknob are cool:) Is it a butchered screwdriver or a proper knob?

Take your time, if you have pets keep them well away as dog/cat hairs get between the film and windows easily I find hoovering the car out first helps, make sure you get the liner sheet on the right side etc A spray bottle of soapy water, craft knife, pair of scissors and an old credit card and your good to go:) Even easier if you can remove the windows first -
It's very clever how they made Alien, a lot of improvisation and miniatures, very little if any cgi The nostromo set was actually fairly small, when she sets it to self destruct and she's running around she's basically just running down the same passage over and over lol
-
The scene when he is fighting on the church roof with Michael wincott is all body double and cgi, at the time it was hard to distinguish but due to the advances in film fx it's easy to see now
-
No need at all for that, I'm not surprised at the backlash she got at all

Maz's Silver MB2 Project... SOLD SOLD SOLD!!! :(
Roylewaa replied to ammarbm's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Looks great under the bonnet mate:) As said painted rocker etc and some blue ht leads would finish it off nicely Have you thought about any blue hoses too? Always makes me wince when I see engines getting power washed, don't know why lol -
Spent yesterday doing general cleaning, removed all the sub/amp wiring as I don't bother with any of that malarkey Fit my cd changer in the boot And sourced a suade gear stick gator with blue stitching from a lad on club323f forum, believe it or not was originally for a civic type R!
-
It was a total ball ache, my arms are cut to bits but got there in the end, used the original bolt with a nut and 2 oversized washers, so far so good and the pedal feels a lot better:) Need to get underneath a grease the gear linkage as it's quite stuff into gears still A job I've had to do to every 323f I've had:)
-
Thanks mate, I've had 4 1.5's and safe to say the first one I had was the best and most solid as it was a pre ford before ford got involved making subtle changes to the interior and mechanical things, much more of a solid car, as the 'proper' Mazdas suffer with fewer rust issues
-
Yes I have the centre caps, they don't fit on due to the longer wheel nuts, mine are all white though I must get round to giving them a clean as the wheels are rotton especially the fronts I wasint actually supposed to be getting the tsw wheels, however when he went to fit the standard Zxi alloys all the tyres were flat so I have those aswell:)
-
Thanks chaps:) It really is a lot of fun to drive Doing my first DIY repair tomorrow, clutch pedal mount has started to shear so need to re bolt it back up, thankfully a fairly easy fix:)
-
I had a laugh this morning when I went to check the tyre pressures, as the ride was very harsh with a severe amount of under steer Front tyres had 45psi in them and the rears 43, since dropping the pressures back to 30 on the front and 28 on the rear it's much better, my spine is saved!! Wheels are indeed tsw evos D1 spec racing nuts aswell which I didn't notice before This is my inspiration
-
Yes it would be silky smooth if I could get used to the damn clutch:) The best thing about it, no rust, underneath is solid. Even the sills where the flutes are is good and that is a very common area for rot on them An old boy had the car from new so it was garaged all it's life up to 2012:)
-
Thanks for all the comments chaps Yes Tom they're RX8 seats:)
-
I have no idea mate, I've not paid much attention to the wheels tbh I shall have a closer look tomorrow, I know they were refurbed and powdercoated white a year or so ago:)
-
Aye it's pretty nippy It sounds faster than it is, kind of a slightly muted scooby rumble Steering is light and precise and it has unbelievable brakes and really chuckable handling Better on juice than a thought it would be aswell:)
-
Thought I would share a few pics of the mb2's replacement
-
A sad day indeed, I agree with you Snakey, you kind of think you know him in a weird way Recently watched Vehicle 19 and Hours which I enjoyed As for fast and furious 7 afaik they were midway through filming and moving locations after thanksgiving break, it's hard to say if they will continue with making the movie, they did with The Crow and Batman so who knows, although the latter was already completed when Heath Ledger passed:(
-
Well I'm happy to report it is awesome, loads of grunt with a nice 6 cylinder rumble I was grinning all the way home, and went through quarter of a tan of fuel in 20 minutes I shall stick up some proper pics tomorrow:) The 1.5 323f is only 89bhp and I found it to to be about the same as my mb2 torque wise
-
It's my wife's mate so likely I will be doing and further updates to the car so will just update as normal:) She's already planning to get a custom exhaust fitted and having the wheels refurbed and powder coated
-
They are super comfortable to drive, my brother had one, front seats were like armchairs I can see how you thought it was an accord though:) Shame though as most BL's are, was rotton as a pear
