Thanks mate! indeed i am it's starting to look the part now so i wont mind doing more things. When it was all in primer id get a bit P/O doing things on it. Im feeling a whoring at the weekend if i managed to get it cleaned.

Ha i know was being super careful when i was putting the interior back in.

Well chaps i got my car back from paint and boy am i happy and the quality of work is top class. So with the car painted i went over to a freinds and we put the interior back together. In a few of the pics the bumper wasn't mounted properly and just sat on. Mega motivated now!! Im feeling its first valet and polish at the weekend

Ahh cool! think ill have to be keeping my eyes peeled for both of them things. Of to the scrappy this weekend so who knows what ill be bringing home

Iv'e been there a few times! The first time i sprayed the wing mirror caps. I was in the garage using the compressor with them sat on the bench. Wofting over with the spray gun i forgot to move the ashtray as it was next to them, You can prob guess what happened . Ash in new paint nice!!!

Thanks lads! Gonna have a go at buffing them tonight hopefully ill be able to sort it. Worst case scenario ill have to nib them off and re laquer them. Good news ropped the car off this morning he says ill have it back in the morn.

Painted my Zs mirror caps again last night, nibbing them off and then used 2k laquer. Got them just how i wanted nice and smooth, no runs, Then!! and effing big feck off MOTH decided to roll on its back an frolic in the wet laquer leaving behing all it's dusty wing in the paint! Fuming Here they are any way baking on the rad, Hopefully i will be able to buff it out when flatting. Car in for paint tomorrow morning, Happy days!

as above im 21 no points and had licence since 17 with 1 years no claims. mb2 £180.19 a month! Cant imagine what an mb6 would be. But if i do it at a relitives who live in boston lincs its less than 1k a year!

Nope there a different shape i tried it on my mates taller spoiler back when he had an M. Quite alot different in shape once the gurney flap was sat on it. A shame, Im undecided what spoiler to go for though i want something different maybe modded off another car? any ideas? I dont mind a little project

MA recess fitted pleased with the paint finished will need going over with g3 a little to get rid of the orange peel but looks good! Also fitted my samco reducer. The missus helped too, Bonus! I found some small rust bubbles so i ground down,treated with kurust and painted with red lead.

Well well, Two updates in one day As im super motivated with it going in for paint next week i decided to go into the garage and flat my ma recess. got it in paint too and used 2k laquer.

Yes mate that will be next although i have just noticed the mb2 spoiler? Is different that the higher models/mb6 etc and more quare on the corners so my time may be wasted an start another once i have decided what spoiler to go for. You might be able to see its slightly different in the pic of the back end in the garage. Could this just be an after market spoiler?

Update Fitted the carbon H today pleased with how it looks. Will look even better once the car is cleaned and grill blacked but as its in the body shop on tuesday for the paint to be done i dont want to use any products that might contaminate the area to be painted. Also flatted the primer on the rear quarters ready to be final prepped by the painter. removed all interior plastics seats carpets etc from the rear so theres no excuses for mask lines round trim. My samco (extreme ) reducer for my whale intake arrived )(over 2 months after i ordered it) so i will get that fitted sometime soon

Ta mate! yeh its a little pricey to start with but once you have bought all the supplys to begin with, making honda badges as there pretty small and dont use much resin, it wont really cost that much in materials maybe a tenner or so.

Yeh me too . It isn't wrapped mate i made a mould of the existing then made a fully carbon one.
