    Ta mate, yeh im pleased with the box. Its pretty easy to do just takes time and patience. I still have the templates i made to make this if they'd be helpful although im not sure if the eg and mb are the same under the bonnet. Maybe just a mod near the slam panel. You know where the sticker will be going

    Cheers mate! It took a while lol I some how manage to find patience when making things like this. I think ill end up powder coating it to make it more hard wearing in the future, once this has been done wrap with the mishimoto gold reflect rather than the foil tape.

    Small update, Just about finished my custom air box i also wrapped my w d1ck in thermal tape aswel as the inside of the box. While the filter and intake were off I ground down some surface rust,treated and repainted on the chassis leg just to clean the engine bay up a little altough it isnt seen once the lid's on. I will be doing most of the rust scabs in the bay as i take bits off and gain access. I also did the coolant bypass thanks to james's write up. Here's a few pics of it how it stands now.

    Brace looks mint mate! really good quality part too! I was going to fit harnesses but after reading up on various forums i was led to belive they were unsafe for road use? especially with 4 point's due to "submarining" through the harness in a hard smash. i dont mean to be a party pooper at all it may just be worth reading further into if you havnt already. it really put me off.

    Right it has begun went out with ste with his volvo tonight to do some whoring Went through the drive through carwash just before we went and it took my fog lense out and let water in, Drat!! So you'll have to excuse the d**ky fog. Here they are, enjoy Ohhh And a few before pics from before i even had it, What i difference! rather pleased with my self These were taken with my new dslr although i have no idea how to use it properly yet Might have gotten abit giddy

    Thanks lads! Yeh im sure ill get use to the look of 50's May just be me but seems more responsive on the steering on the 50's if that is even noticable. Also im on the lookout for some good brand coilies now (used) rather than buying budget new, Obviously in good condition and im in no rush. What are your experiences with coilies/ spring shock sets? Brands,quality etc.

    Got my fanblades back from the powder coaters this morning And my new michelins on and balanced etc. In my eyes car looks 100 times better with them in gun metal just need to clean the black off the old centres. The tyres are 195/50's rather than 55s so leaves i slightly bigger arch gap, And scrapes on things it never used to But boy does it handle now, It's on rails! Heres a couple of pic's, excuse the filthy state of it,it,s being used as a van at the min with work . Hopefully we'll have some decent weather at the weekend so i can get my cleaning head on and "try" to detail it
