That makes more sense than what I read If the guy had his system made in one go that'll probably explain why it sticks out, you can either put up with it until you get a centre pipe made and have it done so the back box sits further in or get the piping shortened on the back box.

Yeah my thoughts exactly! It's like deciding to tax it for 6 months or 12! I'm hoping I can just leave the car with them to save hassle.
-
It sits flush but sticks out? Which is it?

I've emailed the firm I got the quote from telling them of the situation with one seized at the back and the iffy front to see if I could go round for them to check before I agree to work being carried out. They do offer a no thrills "unseize" service with a three month operation guarantee as a quick fix to get through MOT £42 a corner though. See what's what when I can then go from there really! Also checked the time tables for the Welsh Highland Railway and they're open bank holiday Monday and pretty much all the time now for the summer so all is not lost on that front, I can go enjoy it when the cars up to it!

You could go for lowering springs, probably get a 40mm drop at the most, a search on eBay will be the easiest route. Same with the induction kit, if you just want some noise get a universal one. Again, eBay will probably be the easiest place to find one without visiting a 'Halfrauds'.

Haha that's cool man!

No noise from the rear, squealing at the front though.

I'm confused, four people buy a ticket for £10 or you can buy one for £4? If the prize only gets drawn after four people have a ticket why do you need ten members to join in?

Which windows are you looking at doing mate?

Was that just a pair I take it?

I don't think they are from B to D series engined Civic's but J&R on eBay cater for both and are cheap too!
-
Lip looks good!

Cheers dude! She's getting there!Drove the couple of miles to the P&R for work this morning, scorching hot wheel, definitely needs looking at! Spot the difference!
-
Blag both driveshafts need doing, can get them cheap enough and that'll include the CV joints too!

To be fair, my car is about 15 years old and has done 98k miles, if I end up refurbishing the callipers they should last the remaining lifetime of the car. It's just maintenance anyway, though I could do without the expense it's not the end of the world!

Go us! I feel warm and.....oh I've just wet myself, excuse me!
-
I've recorded 140 on the GPS in an M before, pretty much had nothing left to give to be honest.
-
I'm willing to bet the claims of 150 were indicated but not on the GPS where it matters.

I'm just good with money, living with parents helps but I'm by no means loaded

It's decided, day trip is off, hoping to get the cR onto a ramp at my brothers place Saturday afternoon instead, find out what's what if we can then I'll know the extent of what needs doing! I reckon one rear calliper at the very least needs a refurb the way it's sticking, I think one at the front is the sticking too, possibly mean discs? Pads from what I could see have meat left on them.
-
People love added extras, even more when it's free!
-
Yeah that's what it says in the quote! May have to call off my trip to Wales this weekend to help fund it though! Are callipers easy to remove if you've never done it before?

HID kit came today, sweet! Brakes need attention, squeak from the front and sounds like it's starting to bind on the near side (constant rubbing noise), offside rear I have just discovered is also binding, possibly the handbrake? Loads of brake dust on the one wheel, other three are still relatively white! There's a place not too far that can refurbish them all for around £150 which is pretty good!
