  1. Sounds like a challenge for you!
  2. That's the one! Hammering it after copious amounts of wd40 didn't get it shifted so my brother is bringing a portable heat jobby, probably fire to expand the hole and knock it out! Otherwise the callipers are ready to go be refurbished!
  3. Apart from the missus bit, that makes me nervous
  4. Who's 'they' that did the MOT? Depends where it's blowing really dude! Might be something silly like dislodged?
  5. Generally that's normally the way with VTEC Honda's, the power curve is quite linear with the revs (making more power the higher the revs) and because of the natural lack of torque most A road overtakes involve dropping a gear or two (in some cases three and in extreme cases (cyclists), four!) to get the job done!
  6. A lot of it is wear and tear mate, not really a dead horse but if the driveshafts and bit of exhaust are original then it's done bloody well for the mileage and age! It just feels like a lot is going on, believe me I know how you feel!
  7. Getting my pads and brake fluid from Opie with the offer! Mine will want fresh oil soon too but not just yet.
  8. Be good if he can extend it! Otherwise some good stuff happening!
  9. Just paid a bit shy of £160 for Mtec discs all round and £40 for Brembo pads all round.J&R do cheap driveshafts which seem to get good reviews, they have a shop on eBay. Belt you could probably get from a motor factors locally or euro car parts maybe? Not sure about the bracket I'm afraid!
  10. I'm expecting her to be hovering until next weekend at least, there's a stubborn pin stuck that needs heating to get removed so the callipers can be sent off, at that point it'll be the waiting game. Expected turn around is 2-3 days on that, plus waiting for everything else to turn up as well but I can get the new discs and braided lines fitted without the callipers.
  11. Women's knickers falling down just knowing drum brakes are around!
  12. As bad as this sounds I'm quite the fan of the Fiesta ecoboost, has to be the 125bhp version though!
  13. Never seen a deck that colour, would be pretty epic!
  14. A mallet was used a fair bit to be honest!
  15. What about the EK mid spoiler? Might be worth finding out the measurement of it?
  16. Just seems weird they suggest doing it different in that, the manual from here has a different sequence again!
