As above, anybody doing anything exciting this year?
Now the year long January is out of the way, how do you think 2018 is stacking up so far and what have you all got planned for the months ahead?
I've just booked myself a track day at Spa in October, I'll do a few shows and hopefully treat the cars to some parts too! My plan is to be broke....a lot

Really 'pops' outdoors that colour, good to see it back on all four wheels!

Ah cool, I reckon it'll idle better than with a stock flywheel at least

I think that's where the throttle body and idle control come into it?
Not 100% clued up but my thinking is (going back to the Skyline here) is it struggled to start with the heavy flywheel and aggressive cams but once the lightened flywheel was put on (with a twinplate clutch) it was about normal for starting again.

We'll have to see how mine runs, I'm not expecting it to be a nice quiet car on tick over
Of course not. Just saying if if you currently have the standard flywheel then a lightened one may help with starting and idle.

My mates R32 GTR was lumpy as 4uck with aggressive cams but that was countered somewhat by swapping the flywheel for a lighter one.

Probably not in that way but if the seal is damaged I'd be looking at getting it changed for piece of mind anyway.

He pushes back now when he receives, like he wants it.
Think the weekend with his cousin helped him figure it out.

It's good to have a rear parking sensor though, look how much it helped @philgor when he first received anal!

Was about to tag him too haha!

Using it for parts?

As long as they match on the same axel you should be okay. You could swap the fronts to the back to see if it changes anything but I'm not sure it would.

Are your tyres matching brands?
I would look at getting your list above sorted as well then a four wheel aligment again to make sure she's running straight and true.

I'm not sure how they'll feel about a vrs with a 2.5" straight through system
Right at home if they see that glow on the dashboard VAG owners all love

The speed in getting all the suspension parts all returned and refitted puts me to shame! I need to get bloody motivated! Top work mate as always!
You've been saying that a while

No, not there. Here it's never snowing.
But they put salt when it's very cold, so rarely. We have around 10°C on afternoon
They always salt the roads here even without the snow so the cars don't stay clean in winter
-
Shiny!
Do they put salt on the roads down there in winter?

Cheers for tag.. I should be picking up a car in couple of weeks.
It's one from a user here. Looks very good in the pics I've seen.
Should be, maybe, hopefully.
