Update time people!
A few days ago we had Dave remapped at TiMotorsport (Tegiwa).
A stock EP3 should make 197bhp new. Dave is a 2002 car with 138k on the clock.
On the first run Dave made a healthy 214bhp with just the mods bolted on!
After a chunk of mapping had been done this run was to see how far the engine could be pushed and find out where the power falls off in the rev range. Dave was ran right up to 9,000rpm making a peak figure of 236bhp as well!
Finally this power run was made with the rev limiter dropped to 8,200rpm. Peak power was 234bhp at 8,000rpm which should keep the engine reliable.

Cheers bud. Thought they were shot and needed a refurb. Saved a couple of hundred quid there!
On my Enkei Evo 8 alloys the paint has flaked off in places but I've got myself what I assume is an equivalent product:

Got a 500ml bottle to try it out, see what it's like and if it's any good I'll get some more once this runs out

Good stuff Simon! Glad they came up good in the end.

Rear discs and pads are an easy one to sort

It's one of those things that you probably bought just to do the job and it just won't die

Mb lip was free and already had mudflaps on car. Was a little sort but getting that sorted
Fair enough haha! With the full lip though the mudflaps don't usually fit.
-
Suppose the MB rear lip is one way of being able to keep the mudflaps as well.

Anymore for anymore? One-horse race at this rate

Is it a standard airbox and filter you have?
Might just need the spark plug seals replacing, shouldn't cost much.
Could you post a photo of the headunit loom? Usually an ISO adaptor is all you'd need, plug and play.

Still my dream mod...
Good to see Dave getting some new part love
Those intakes are supposed to be tip top! Remember @johngreen537 getting one for his.
I've got one on Bob, still enjoy how bipolar it is, same with the Mugen exhaust on Bob too!
Got some decent ear plugs now too as it was already loud as f**k in there with the Spoon N1 and no rear interior

I use to have a mishimoto rad on my old civic. great quality if I ever need a new rad I'd get one from them. Any plans on a new inlet manifold, they make a good difference on those engines.
Eventually but with a supercharger hanging off it

The time has come for an update. Dave has been woken up from his hibernation for some TLC and goodies.
Replacement radiator, low temp thermostat, replacement coolant hoses, decat exhaust manifold and a Tegiwa M airbox.
The oil has had it's annual change as well.
All ready for remapping on the 16th April with Cadwell booked for the day after!

Our outside tap is at the back of the house, still better than nothing but it can be a ballache when you're not motivated!

I bet while you were sat in there you pretended to be driving it too didn't you?
Looking good dude, fast becoming a car again!

I've noticed on the Type R owners a few ventured into the BMW thing and then ended up back in a Honda. Give it time

That's what she said.

I had a certificate message too, told @Dave before he only needs to ask and I'll send him nudes

Yes, both front windows have vents and I have a small fan blower behind the dashboard
True, it won't be on the road but I want to be cool/warm. If it becomes too much then I'll look to put small vents in the rear windows to pull air out of the cabin
I've found that even doing a trackday in December I still get quite warm in the car but I'd never ditch the fan heater ever haha.

Really happy but that first figure took us all by surprise, even Rob who was tuning Dave wasn't expecting it!
Would like to get Bob on the dyno sometime for a power run too, will book it with Ti as well being as they've been decent so far.
