  1. Same problem with my MB3. I think it's because of the cold weather, car takes a while to warm up and uses more fuel. Better avoid short journeys as the car won't be fully warmed up until you reach destination. May sound weird but having heater and headlights on uses more fuel for some reason. Also check if tyres are good.

I also installed new induction kit, whale p***s with brand new K&N filter, previously had stock. I gave it so much abuse for the first time just to show off my mates the induction noise and I surprisingly got 130 miles from £20, it's the best I got all this time I've had my car. I normally get 80 from £20. I don't understand how lol, I abused it and got more miles, if I drive calm, I get less miles. But then that was in beginning of November so I don't think it was cold enough. Now I'm back to getting 80 miles from £20 :(

  2. Update:

Took off my grill and made it into mesh.

Saw a VTi-S parked outside mate's garage, took a pic next to it.  :-) 27CE2DF1-95C1-4676-B891-F6D3DAF65254_zps

  3. Cheers bud... You know, i really can't remember, but it was a good few mill thick. I'll see if I can check without needing to do yoga in the morning. :D

No problem mate, I'm trying to fit these seats myself without too much work. Instead of cutting and using MB rails, I'm using steel angle brackets from B&Q which I can bend to MB rail shape. I then need to do what you did, weld the MB rail or in my case the angle bracket onto a steel plate and weld the steel plate onto the seat subframe. I think I might just get 300mm x 300mm steel plate, should be more than enough. :)

  4. I removed the headliner and ran wires from the front interior light unit to the back. Quite easy to do :)

Oh I was thinking of that as well :) Not bad, just waiting for Christmas holidays so I can have time to do mine. Also are the boot lights stuck to the carpet? I did mine with COB strip few weeks ago and stuck them to carpet with double sided tape but they keep falling off lol

  5. Thnx alot man :D ohh ye i heard about jordans they look good too hmm ill have to see what ither wheels people are using :D or if i will have to go through hub changing, calipers etc but that again would cost alot :/

You can also use wheel adaptors to convert 4x100 to 4x114 but good quality ones cost more than to change the whole set of hubs lol
