On an update just been told by the mrs that my wind deflectors have turned up so they will be going on tonight when i get back from work. also totted up how much spent on the car so far and gotta say glad the mrs dont know where keep the receipts for parts for car as the deal we have is what i spend on car she can spend

Cheers mate she was the pride and joy but kinda boring to a degree as only other thing that could of really been done was engine swap

Type r is a H22a7 and the vtec sport is a F18B2 comes off line at 126BHP

I love it 280-300bhp turbo cant wait to have a go in 1,a mate of mine works for honda and we have already said we are taking it out for a test drive

I never had the leather in mine was just cloth seats but they were the semi bucket seats locked you in nice and tight,pulled well considering its not the most powerful engine,i had it dyno'd at 140bhp in the end, i would have another one tomorrow as a daily car and the mrs use the mb and then i have it at weekends as a play toy. Cant beat the roar of vtec on my civic compared to the accord and the accord had decat straight through type r system with aem long arm induction on it all my civic has got is backbox and a freebie halfords filter on it using standard air pipe

The 2.3 type v engine was the wettest engine i have ever drove aswell,a mate had one and i drove it and was awfull he drove mine and loved it, but he went out and bought a type r in the end

Was a cracking car mate lovely and comfy aswell and the vtec could still make you smile,she was absolutely mint mate not a mark on it

I know this isnt a civic but its still a honda, it was a accord 1.8 vtec sport, had this for about 14 months then 1 day on way to work on wet day slid it round a corner and she got smashed to bits they found traces of oil on the road and obviously mixed with the water but loved that car. I had been looking at buying another civic when i had the accord but was unsure as accord was perfect family car aswell but then when it went to scrap yard in the sky i made sure i bought another civic

Thought I would upload a few pics of the civic i had 2years ago I bought it like that, i had the car all of a week but it was on the road for a day,we took it out and within 30mins it went bang,had dropped all the oil out when we were doing 150mph up the bypass was mentally quick but it must of had a crash as when we were doing that speed the steering wheel was straight but we all over place so steering must of been bent

Yeah i have emailed them just waiting to hear back from them,but you watch guarantee because it will be a custom job i will pay a stupid amount for them.

Just thought of one problem that i forgot to mention about those after market fog lights is that they stick out past the fog surround but i have just come to get used to it but i am going to try and see if there is a way of mounting them to the brackets that the original fogs come bolted to,if i can get it to work i will let you guys know as i do think would look better if they actually sat in behind the surrounds or sat flush with them

Thats a good idea about the dizzy i suppose it should be alright if i cover the plug holes with something shouldnt it. Grant havent checked magnecors website yet but will do in abit but messages potn.com and demon tweeks at mo to see what they can do but ebay certainly dont. with regards to the h.i.d's mate at mo the police havent minded and they have pulled me a few times for certain things.....145 down bypass with a bmw but will change them if get forced to but havent seen anything else yet that you can see so well with

Does anyone know where i might be able to get yellow HT leads from as want to keep to the yellow and black them ive got at the moment

Was a pain in the back side to find all the screws but worth it when you see the final result,always goes back together so much quicker and easier than taking it apart

To do fans switch mate you pop rear window and hazard switches out there a screw behind each 1 take stereo out as 1 behind then 1 either side in footwells and you have to pop the little cover in centre where handbrake is and undo 2 screws then the 2 screws at back of handbrake lift it and slide over handbrake then slide centre console forward. With the hid kit I've got the high/low beam mate

got to try and find somewhere by me that doesn't wanna rape you with there prices

Haha someone on fb page was selling a kit off a aerodeck so had the skirts as I'm going to just stick with standard vti front splitter,my clock is right time lol Decided I'm going to get rear windows tinted and I've got the best excuse to get it done,told the mrs that the sun earlier was blinding our 2yr old son sat in back and her answer.....yeah fine now if I'd of just asked guarantee the answer would of been no lol

Haha just chucked the cigarette lighter in there for the pic 99% the time got my phone charger in there damn iPhone battery don't last to long. Another little update I managed to finally get a set of vtis side skirts £50 posted I'm happy with that might make car look better that there is a lip on front and rear but nothing on the side

Cheers guys I'm well chuffed with it,we're going to try and attempt the dial surround aswell but looks like it could be quite a tough one to do,looks a lot better than the standard look

That's my carbon wrapped dash now looks so much better than the granite finish it came with

A little update kinda got abit carried away earlier and bought the rest of the blue bulbs for dials and dash board ordered a blue immobiliser bulb aswell to replace the red 1 that's in there and also ordered the 4pc wind deflector set. Also had the carbon wrapped bits delivered earlier so most if it gutted just got around fan switches to do will post pics up tomorrow
