  1. Just thought I'd post up a pic of both my babies. My weekend car and my daily car
  2. All of em! If u look in the dark pictures u can see the grass wrapped around the middle part of the hub and what's left of the spokes (about 20mm) Yeh was pretty lucky, the car obviously shot left as soon as the wheel broke, couldn't stop it diving in the ditch though.didnt hit anything luckily just the damage from the impact and when it slid into the bank You live and learn! (Don't drive aggressively after falling out with your miss's) !!!
  3. All about growing up why I ever thought Lambo doors and 2 ton sound system was a good idea I'll never know lol But I had some great times with this car,met some brilliant people and even though I'd admit it looks silly - I had fun back then
  4. X2........ There must be something loose! U may need it on a 4 poster to accurately diagnose.
  5. They only cost about £20 each! Genuine!
  6. The honda parts system doesn't list them! If they where to price them up they do come as part of the whole trailing arm.....however if you've been working for the company long enough you'd be aware that there is a part number for just the bush on its own. I'll get you the part number when I'm back at work on Tuesday. I'm sure if you looked you could find it on google but whoever told u at your honda dealer that you couldn't get them is wrong!
  7. I was going round a right hand fast bend at about "60" and under steered into the kerb, the left front wheel got hit on the spokes and it snapped every single one!! The reason the wheel is so far into the arch is because the outer part of the wheel wasn't even connected to centre bit that's bolted to the hub...... Missed a tree by inches! I was gutted! just left it on my drive for about 6 months and didn't touch it. Finally stared stripping her in 2011 and 2 years on I now have the white one
  8. Standard ones are not too bad ( genuine that is ) generally they last a good 5-7 years Simpo is right though, they are a pain, bout 1-2 hours on a ramp. I wouldn't do them on the floor!
  9. Sorry missed that and the arrow on the bush goes facing inwards and down
  10. Remover the brackets that hold the hand brake cable down, undo the rear upper top arm (it will ping out) undo the rear tracking arm that's at the front of the rear trailing arm so the whole trailing arm is hanging on the just the rear lower arm (make sure u mark where the arm was before removing bolts) Then finaly wedge the arm against something so u can bang the bushes out with a massive hammer the bushes only go out and in one way - u bang them out words going out and inwards towards the car going in! Simple as that
  11. See I can't speak English either lol!!
  12. "And leek" so your shocks are leaking yes?
  13. As u can see I completely mullerd one of the rims in the crash,I was hoping on getting a replacement and fit them to my current build but you can buy them any where anymore
  14. Wow that's cheap! Certainly cheaper than mine. Well I'm committed now as cars currently being fitted with the hondata one now. I'm just not sure all in all though, surely you get what you pay for? I may be wrong?!
  15. I think your on about the steering torque screw on the back of the rack.... Has a hexagonal recess in the middle of it. These have to be set to Hondas spec. Unlikely it would move though, unless the racks been replaced or fiddled with! I'm guessing you've checked the usual? Tyre pressures correct Shocks aren't leaking Anti roll bar all fine
  16. I was devastated nearly decided to pack in the whole car scene all together! But I decided to do one more car and then that would be it for modding cars - so I when't all out.....
  17. Yes it did. I do sometimes look back and think "u bell end" but hey,it's where my love of cars, forums and shows all started and I won't deny that I had some wonderful times with that car,not just driving her but everything that whent with having a car like that
  18. This was the car that first brought me into the car scene! it was completely standard when i brought her at the age of 18. i spent thousands on her over the couple of years i had her, mostly on body kits, big wheels, massive sound systems and loud exhaust. This car introduced me to fast cars, drunken partys, shows, drag racing and a whole lot more Yes - i was a typical boy racer
  19. Thought id post this up so people could see my old car that i built previous to my current white civic. I built this car like me current one in a garage just up the road from my house. I spent around 6-8month stripping her down but i didnt strip all the suspension off,i just re-painted a few bits here and there,re-undersealed it all and fitted a 60k B18C4 lump id brought (the same engine thats in my current car) I then lowered her, fitted some wheels,Fitted a full VTI-S kit and a full exhaust and had the whole car re-sprayed blue. I didnt go anywhere near the level of detail or attention that i payed to my new Civic but it still turned out pretty nice. Think ive still got a soft spot for that blue As some of you will of already read - this is the one i crashed and then stripped for parts. the crash itself isnt what killed her.......there was something in the ditch that i put her in and it had eaten into the paint work The whole car would of had to been rubbed back to bair metal to get rid of it and then re-sprayed again! this wasnt a option........AND SO CAME THE IDEA TO BUILD MY CURRENT CIVIC And now for the crash scene :'( :'(
  20. Love your wheels chandler! And they fit so snug in the arch's..... I couldn't decide between your car and Phil's to be honest! Love em both
  21. Wow, that's alot of camber! I was advised not to go much past 1.5 if I wanted the tyres to atleast last further than my house to the petrol station lol. Sky's the limit If u can afford to keep changing tyres. Well done!
