  1. ^^^ shake it up a little, like it
  2. I did feel a noticable difference with these, pull from 2-4k was stronger than standard and felt freer at the top. Sorry
  3. the 1 set on the website, they are for self tappers, so you could get awaywith using any of them really, maybe not big ones as these will protrude from the back of the wing.
  4. Loving that colour, that spoiler really works aswell, will look better back with black wheels
  5. Nice work! I hate refurbing wheels, have got 3 sets to do soon
  6. WOOOP! What goes around comes around. Just bought! ^^^what he said
  7. pics!!!!!!!!!!! loving the clean look, what profile tyre you gone for?
  8. thread jack I seem to have developed road rage in this car/ i've just realised how many incompetant drivers are on the road. Has anyone changed their horn for something a bit more hench and not just a little standard "meep" curry mate.
  9. yes 2nd linky would do a better job than the plastic clip, will give a tighter fit and will far outlast the plastic clip, especially if you think you'll be whipping the bumper off a few more times. ive got a set of these, they are really useful, you could replace the ones in the bottom of the bumper as these tend to seize, also used them for a sound build ...
  10. cheers for the linky,,, mine say "BIG PETER" across the bottom of the plates, who the Feck he is??? ill get a picture, sure itll entertain, everyone else has laughed at me.
  11. Looks like I'll just be affording the fronts this month then
  12. cheers. and who would trust multi-fit brakes,,,hmmm not a chance
  13. nice one for the heads up what are peoples search words when looking for stuff? ie you dont get alot coming up for MC", 5 stud stuff coming up for mb6 and just tat for vti.
  14. Shiney, Damn dust! Where di you get the plates from? I need to indulge.
  15. Thanks i ended up getting a loan to buy the car and thought i may aswell spend a little more, the progress from here slows a little, so am after cheap DIY mods. Was hoping to get my detail on this weekend, but predictably weather forbids.
  16. Not sure when I'm going to find the time and motivation to fit these.
  17. I take it you're using aerosols for the paint repair? It is really difficult to get a good colour match, especially with silvers. There are some places where you can take a panel like a petrol flap in and they mix it up there and then to the right tint. Think halfords do this aswell?
  18. So i was driving a bit spirited the other night since my mate had a new fiesta ST and just happended to be going the same way... anyway i was getting some major brake fade. as much as the brakes are fine in normal driving and i like blue tinted discs, the lot is getting replaced. not dead expensive and not dead cheap, a drilled and grooved disc is always going to be better than standard right? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320861898545?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 couple of pad preferences please cheers dean
  19. FailTO like said save the money for a vti, you wont regret it
  20. Just to be sure before i start collecting bits to fu** up and make, ive searched but there is no JDM rear recess for our cars and no top rear spoiler?
  21. Thats rapid hair drying power right there... nice work!
  22. at the bumper corner its a 8mm self tapper, which goes into a plastic clip that opens up when tightened, or you could use a "speed" clip the second nut and bolt you mention shouldn't be there, it should be a rectangular clip, this just supports the bumper doesn't tighten up. these break easily as the plastic goes brittle.
  23. Jeeze thats awesome, thats dedication. Makes me feel a bit deflated not doing the bottom half of my car lol.
