    hi all, looking to make the honda a tad stiffer (insert p***s jokes) ive fitted zs 180 shocks and springs, much better, but for instance, when i push/rock the car side to side i feel it wobbles too much. whats recomended? il be using the car for road rallies, so a mix of rough forest/farm tracks and country lanes
  2. would it be worth me swapping gears? id only swap a few if it made a diiference.
  3. heres the info on ratios ive found.... crv s9b 1st 3.5 3.230 2nd 1.956 1.900 3rd 1.344 1.360 4th 1.071 1.034 5th .812 .848 fd 4.562 4.266 i dont know much about ratio's except, the higher the fd the quicker the exceleration. i can pick up a whole crv for £100 these ratios are from 98-01 years crv's
  4. been looking in to the CRV gearbox, i see they have a 4.5 FD, and second and third gears seem better than the s9b. question is, are the gears interchangable with the s9b?

  6. hi all, just sorned the civic for some much needed tlc. i have many plans for it, such as roll cage, bucket seats, lighten, blank sunroof, remove abs and ac, bake lines and fuel lines in car, hydraulic handbrake and maybe a few more.................. but, i want to freshen up the head, burns a bit of oil. do i need new head bolts or reuse old ones? anything i can do with the head off to gain a little? is there a how to guide somewhere on head rebuild/ torque setting etc ?
  7. just fitted new boss and sparco steering wheel to my mb6, but im not sure on how to wire in the horn as it was all to do with the air bag wireing etc last time

  9. hi all, does the accord type r gearbox fit a b18c4? and what would the ratios be if i could get one?
  10. i put 180 zs shocks and springs on my vti, much better handling, and only a tiny bit lower, the ones to go for are the 180 v6.
