  1. Balls! Hit something in the road while on my minimoon last week and put a hole in the petrol tank! Couldnt find a replacement locally so had to get towed home! Not great but sort of fun! I opted for for a cheap quick fix using putty, have left it for a day to fully harden, then put a can of petrol in, so far so good.
  2. Just wondering how you got on? I have 17x7 not sure on offset but mine rub the inner wing and limit the lock a bit, not ideal but no rubbing and no need to roll any arches!
  3. When I turn my air con on it gets cold but there is some hissing coming from the front passenger side. (Where the heater/air box is) Is this normal?
  4. Does anyone else get back pain from the sport seats? I'm not sure if it's the seats or the suspension, so I've decided it needs to come up a bit! I had a few hours to kill this afternoon so started trying to raise her up. I spent far too long scraping knuckles getting nowhere before deciding to pull the whole coilover out. Off the car it was easy! I removed the spring with a bit of backyard engineering, sit on the fork and you can undo the nut easily! Once I broke the lockring and adjustment ring free I cleaned up all the threads and covered them in copper grease! Everyone needs to use more copper grease!!
  5. NH614M is the paint code as far as I can tell, which is Titan Silver! has anyone got a good condition bonnet in the same silver?
  6. Seeing as the sun was out today I decided to connect the sub I had in the garage and give the car a proper clean! I gave the whole car a good wash, snow foamed and then used a clay bar on the whole car!! Half way through I wished I hadn't started! But the clay was turning brown and picking up all the tar spots so it was doing it's job! Finally finished claying, grabbed some compound for a few bad scuffs where there was red paint from my mates door! Then remembered after clay you have to wax so had to do all that! Pretty exhausting and my girl didn't even notice! Ha, oh well. im pretty happy with some of it considering its 16 years old now, although I photographed it's good side ideally I need new bumpers, bonnet, drivers door, drivers wing and wing mirror to be decent but it's a cheap run around, not a show car.
  7. Starting to think about exhausts again, having just replaced the whole lot with a standard system it's very quiet and boring! I think I'll just replace the backbox but ideally one that will bolt straight up (I can weld if I need to though but I would want to get a flange to do it properly) I don't want too much noise so 2-3" max on tail pipe size. what other Honda backbox would fit? To make finding something easier
  8. I started reading this about a week ago, gutted to reach the end and the car is now gone al least you had a few good years! I'd be interested in a few panels if you weren't so far away from Hampshire!
  9. Seats turned up this morning! Not quite as good as advertised (small hole in the fabric) but still a vast improvement over the shrunken leather one! Here ladies and gents is why you need to look after your leather!
  10. Update on the seat, I believe it's shrunken due to some water/sun damage, asked on FB group and have been offered a pair of front seats from a low mileage mb for £20 so getting them on Monday! So, who can tell me what silver my car is, Halfrauds have a few different silvers. Satin Silver Noble Silver Blade Silver Vogue Silver
  11. Bargain! I paid £5.89 delivered! Lol not worth getting the soldering iron out really lol
  12. I was going to replace with ceramic resistors but wasn't sure on what resistance I needed so took the easy option, I will check the resistance so I know for future reference if it does break again
  13. That picture is after I attempted twisting it back together last week! They were completely broken and separate before
