Not advisable when you having issues just compounds the issues with this problem I just about stripped back to standard and krzys mime started to do it all the time which is why it came off the road,never suspected the MAP sensor as never had one go down so got my research on. Krzys Posted July 24, 2014 Share Posted July 24, 2014 Mine hesitates when cold under partial throttle, I unplugged the lambda which seemed to make it much smoother. Could the MAP and TPS still be contributing to it do you think? Those have probably never been looked at nor cleaned and the motor has done 99k. Guest jimbob738 Posted July 24, 2014 Share Posted July 24, 2014 Yes mate 100% people under estimate their importance to the ECU calibration the MAP sensor especially, removing the lambda is pointless it would just be an open loop system and be constantly running rich masking the actual issue, trust I been down that road.
