wantone
I've recently fitted mtec grooved disks to my MC2 along with some stoptech fast road pads.I've done well over a thousand miles on them now and i can honestly say they are a much better set up than i had before, EBC plain disks and redstuff pads. They are a little dusty but performance when cold and stupidly hot is excellent.I gave the disks a hard time bedding in the new pads and they have stayed straight and true, since then they have been well used but time will tell i suppose...Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the stoptech pads though. philgor
@Jayhoath83, there rear disks on that link, and i cant seem to find brembo front disks.... @Krzys, been on federal mogul's site who produce the ds2500 pads, they don't make them for the front..... KiNK43
You sure your hubs are clean when fitting? Seems weird to warp them on the road.I love mtec discs last forever and work well for me.I'm using Mintex rear pads and nissin super street front.Braided hoses too. And to be honest they are serious. Like jeez Louise when go hard on the brakes.
KiNK43
And any drilled disc is liable to crack.Dimpled is the way to go but they make a funny noise when braking. Fine by me tho. My car makes various noises anyway
burbleboy
I went to Black Diamond 12 grooved front discs and they're fine so far.
philgor
ordered a set of apec disks and pads, tried and tested with my own right foot. see how these get on. i make sure the hubs are clean before i do anything else, the disks have only been on a year, and have started to judder/warp about a month ago...
