Hi guys, thought I'd start a quick thread for my mb4 I bought about 3 weeks ago. Came stock, with a full years mot, 95k with clean bodywork.

so far iv fitted a vti front lip, de chromed the grill and headlights, fitted suspension off my old eg and buddyclub p1s with 205 50 federal RSRs. Also changed the thermostat this weekend. Still to fit my k tuned short shifter, 421 manifold, and iv ordered material to build my own manifold back custom exhaust.

Tried my friends p28 htune ecu out of his (my old) d16z6 coupe. What a difference! Vtec comes in earlier and the redline increases by 500rpm. Definetly going to be on the lookout for one. During gear changes with the stock ecu it drops out of vtec but with the p28 it will stay in song :)

Nice work already dude! You change cars like most people do clothes just lately!

Should never of got rid of my old mb6! That's the biggest regret. The aerodeck I got was a bit of a dog and the eg coupe and hatch just weren't practical enough. Keeping this though lol

Stuck the standard wheels back on so il have enough clearance to get the tracking done. Need to get a new rod end for the passengers side and get it down the garage. Still unsure if I want to keep the buddyclubs, but they do look good. Will have to trim the arch liners and for some small spacers up front though as I get a lot of rubbing. Took some pics on the standard rims lol

  • 2 weeks later...

Got half the car machine polished. Excuse the wheels. Been giving the buddyclubs a good clean, but considering swapping them for something with more bling.

Went to my mates unit in wallyford today (original fabrications) and knocked up a 2.5" manifold back stainless system. I also fitted th old 421 manifold from my eg civic.
