Mid Spoiler fitting

I know this had been covered but just spent the past 40 mins searching and can't find the thread, anyways picked up a vtis mid Spoiler for me deck and don't want to fit it wrong as I can't see any dimples on the rear of the tailgate like other Hondas, how did people go about marking up and fitting? Thanks in advanced

Make a template and take your time marking it out measure it twice .

Yeah, main thing is take your time with it mate. I got Honda to fit DD's in the end as didnt feel confident fitting it.

I'm the same if I f**k it up I'll cry if I done it at all uneven it would bug the life out of me. I'm thinking I might cover the area in masking tape and offer up the Spoiler and get a mate to hold it and step back and measure up and see how it looks then trace the outline onto the masking tape with a pencil and measure exactly where the holes are and somehow transfere that to the car ha ha

make a template s previous people said. my holes aren't spot on, i've made them bigger and then i put a bit of silicone round the holes when i fitted the spoiler to seal it
