creaking front wheel

well.. it's looking to be my track rod end causing the creaking noise.. got one ordered to get on Monday coz there's waaaay too much play going on.

track rod end: changed :)

creaking noise on steering: still there :(

dangerous feeling on right hand bends: gone :)

well it breezed through it's mot yesteray, so shouldn't be serious... I'm getting a timingbelt service at the weekend and will ask him if he knows what it is.

tried bouncing the car, but it didn't really make the noise... then again, it's pretty hard to get a bounce going with me shocks so stiff :lol:

ok drive your car slowly ok and prod the brake peddle this will get a bounce

as your car will nip on the front

i have t6he same problom i know its the top mount

and your car is lowerened its prob that two

what kit are you running?

I've got eibach springs and koni sport shocks... had them on a couple of years now though.

it's mainly when I'm stopped and just turning the wheel a little bit past centre.. does it a bit when starting to move and coming to a stop. doesn't seem to do it when I'm moving.

when I sprayed everything behind the wheel with lube it stopped (until it rained :lol: )
