scottravenhill
Got a DB killer for the exhaust on Monday for mot. It has wedged in super tight so was a bit worried at first in case I wanted to remove it.BUT! I LIKE IT!IAB much louder and you can feel it more. Car seems more economical. Some people report engine sounding 'dry' with decat and large tailpipe, this is no longer the case either, it sounds a lot healthier.Exhaust noise whilst driving, it still has boom but not deafening and it is still loud when revved up. But at a constant rpm its a lot quieter.Would totally reccomend if your engine sounds 'dry'
Krzys
Where did you get the DB Killer?Roof looks awesome, you've pretty much done the bits I'd like to do to mine! Overall it's a very smart motor!
scottravenhill
it was from MIJ Performance in Walsall, they are listed on ebay for £19.99 + £5 postage, which seems a bit steep, he only charged me £16.99 at the counter as I was in Walsall anyway that day.if youve not seen them before its a like a funnel that goes in your tailpipe and into the pipe in the centre of the backbox (japbox) so instead of having a 4" outlet its just the pipe from front to back.its nice to hear the engine again
Krzys
I had something similar for an old Spoon N1 backbox, was codenamed: Winter mode as that was the only time it used to ruin my ears!
