I wish that was all mine needed! A mechless car stereo literally has no moving parts. It is a completely solid-state (digitally tuned) AM/FM radio with provision to play music from digital media, like a USB flash drive or SD card. NIKH25 Posted December 22, 2012 Author Share Posted December 22, 2012 Nothing mod wise of late but I've just had a new cambelt, fuel filter, dizzy cap, rotor arm and battery.After xmas new water pump, ps belt and alt belt plus MOT is due. True that, although the water pump is weeping, the aux drive belts are somewhat frayed (which was pointed out some time ago but I forgot) and the rack is leaking ps fluid so not totally broken yet but not good.
