seems to me that the rubbing that has occurred weakened the wheel

never mind this just read post on page 1 now

hhhhhmmmmm it looks to be over tightened wheel nuts but 100lb is not much :? ?

yes i think they where the ride is ok better with 16" it does not catch

i will take my torque wrench in to work and check it againest the calibrated ones

the powder coating goes to 150 degrees which is not that high i was told one of the early S1 elise wheels should not be powder coated so it could be that i am taking the wheel to a wheel specialist on tue they do all sorts so they should be able to tell me what happened

as well as roll my arches on the rear

good point never noticed that was the one with all the weights on there was no viberation on the car at all

and i know he watched that one being blanced but will add that to the list thanks :?:

i am trying to see if i need 1 wheel to replace that one or 4 new ones and scrap them all :roll: in case some one tracks them :(
