I'd love to stick one on... properly love it... even a small one like off a cooper s would do - wouldn't necessarilly want loads of bhp...

would find it hard to justify the cost though...

Lovin' the whine off the mc2, super chargers are excellent for instant torque and power, had 2 supercharged golfs in the past, one running about 220bhp, stunningly quick :-D

Would love to supercharge the civic but like you say £££££ :(

didnt look that impressive compared to a turbo setup imo. in terms of money if you can get the eaton m45 or mabey somthing else, a custom mani to mount it on, a way of linking the belts up and an ecu from xenocron with a basemap for the supercharger shouldnt brake the bank that much lol. :?

I'll not go down the supercharger route as it'll turn the car into something it 'shouldn't' be. Our vtec hondas are designed to be powerful when we want it, economical when driven sensibly. A supercharger would turn the car into a monster, but it'd be like that all of the time, whereas a turbo with boost control & a turbo lag-killing nitrous setup to spool up the turbo almost immediately would keep economical driving an option. From the little I know about superchargers they take a fair bit of grunt to drive; more than a turbo would & whilst the car'd be awesome on the strip, it wouldn't be something I'd want for a daily driver. Of course, if you only live a few miles from work (I wish I did!), who cares about economy?!
