VTISmichael Posted March 30, 2012 Author Share Posted March 30, 2012 good news and bad news, it passed the MOT and then i went onto emperor to have my arches rolled, passenger rear was fine but the drivers rear had been repaired with a double skin and was pretty hard to roll and some paint cracked the fronts were easy and guess what my wheels still dont fit lolso i can either get adjustable camber arms - tyres wont last longbuy more stretched tyres - proby wont be enoughget wide arches - not an option i want to doi think im just going to sell them now.. Shadz-VTIs Posted March 31, 2012 Share Posted March 31, 2012 dont give up... front tyre fits look fine to me..i think do they fit..just needs slight negative camber and its sorted..tyres wont fade that quick if you drive slow and normal mine previous tyres lasted long time with too much negative camber... how bad is the rear arch??? did he rolled back the lip though.. for the paint crack cover it with some underseal !!!! theres always 1 dodgey arch... get some pix up... If it still doesnt work, sell the camber kit, and then sell the wheels. However, you may be able to get them on for not much more cash, and will definitely be cheaper than looking for new wheels/tyres again. VTISmichael Posted April 4, 2012 Author Share Posted April 4, 2012 Ive given in and bought a set of used dc2 front camber arms off ek9 forum and new rear camber arms of ebay, hopefully i should get the fronts tomorrow and the rears maybe saturday, if it all arrives ill be finally getting those wheels on! need to get some quotes for body work and get some underseal!
