Steering Wheel Removal

do you have the adapter before you go on???

- Diconnect battery - and leave for 10 minutes, have a beer or something ( energy is stored in airbag after ign switch off. )

- Make sure wheels are DEAD straight!

- There will be 2 small plastic covers which should pop out either side of the wheel

- Behind these will be a couple of TORX screws, (thats the 6 point star shape)

- Airbag should pry out , diconnect whichever connecters are attatched, take airbag out (allways store upright in a normal condition, NOT direct sunlight, NOT freezer!)

- Crack the big 19mm bolt, will be on very hard as steering wheels usually never come off.

- Done! 8-)

I'v got a how to on resetting the airbag warning light somewhere..........i look it out and post it up. Also, disconect the battery before you begin ;) Just a bit safer
