MG dampers with X-power (Eibach) springs)

Got a link to the ones you have..... :D

sadly i had the last of 4 sets. been a while now. doubt there is any more. i got them for the 1.8 MG 180. not the 2.5 V6. they dont advertise them anymore.

:roll::evil::cry:

Try Eibach, bit costly but very good. :D Low also.

Right, finally.....

Took weetec's write up onboard and acted, bought eibach pro springs last night! WACK11111

£283 later but peice of mind that i'm fitting the better setup to coilovers. Happy as a result so no more headaches and my mate shaking his head as i ask him to chop and change things! lol

Only solution but the only good thing to come out of this is...EXPERIENCE and passing it on to others!

Thanks for all your advice and pictures, this forum sums up what it's all about...community and cyber friends! 1"£££$££"!

Right, soppy stuff over, get back to work! boozer.gif1

on 16's that looks awesome lol, on the 15's it looks mega low lol!! Check out my thread i put up there of the drop difference it made to mine, although my VTI-S came with normal VTI wheels ffs lol.

Thanks mate. :D Really notice the difference with the 16's on now, not nearly as hard and crashy as with the 15's. :)

Saw you're thread earlier, nice subtle drop. :)

glad you are getting somewhere now dude.

i have learnt that there is always a downside to lowering springs in one way or another.

i will only ever have adjustable coilovers from now on

you get the good ride quality then a quick tweak and the laps up corners

personally id send them back and get finance on a set of meister R's or HSD. plenty of 0% finance companys out there. all them adjustments. youd be as happy as larry :D

I can afford it but personally speaking i would never go down the coilover route again. I had one of the uk's lowest honda accord and getting setup right was a nightmare personally. I vowed never to get coilovers again as i cant be bothered with harsh ride etc again. And before you say "but you dont gave to have it mega low", if i fit coilovers..i would want it scrapping again!! Im staying away and rather let eibach and mg sort out my handling from now on!

Also, because my accord had quite alot of modifications done to it, i also vowed never to spend crazy money on a car again...especially when it was written off and i had the headache of selling the mod parts from it, thats why im buying 2nd hand suspension etc as to buying buddyclub coilovers and adjustable arms etc
