Krzys
That's a fair bit if you have to pay it in one go, or do you pay monthly?

jamestopdog
Hey so wavd goodbye to the mazda, fired up the mb4 after 3 weeks rest, first turn of the key (never any doubt)Its all dried out nicely inside, but will be investigating leak tomorrow, car was looking good as cleaned it in and out before sticking it in the garage. Was nice to get behind the wheel againOrdered up some red seat covers for the mazda, turned up yesterday, luckily they fit the honda quite well and from about 20 metres away, with squinted eyes and failing light look like a nice pair of red recaros through the window Btw thanks everyone so far for votes for cotm, ill be so chuffed if I win

jamestopdog
Nice bit of winter sun, notice the very bright seat covers and original registration!
jamestopdog
Ok so thought I would have a go at plastidipping.Running out of daylight here but project happening as we speak live!Grill first, looking a bit chipped and tired. Now I know your thinking, look at the state of that masking, but deliberately left a bit of body work exposed as its just meant to peel off, bloody hope so, felt weird to say the least spraying directly on to my bodywork!Doing back trim as wellTime against me so been doing coats quite fast, really need more time, but if it looks rubbish just peel it off (hopefully)Really want to try top metalizer coat today as well
Krzys
Shortest hibernation ever. DC2 recaro copies. That looks cool! I thought it was a dip from the name, but I have seen something where you can just spray on and peel off! Looks like an easy way to rid the car of gash chrome! Did you have to do any prep at all to the surface you want to paint?
jamestopdog
Oh my god how did I ever do without plastidip in my life! Its amazing Krzy, ill do a how to on a thread somewhere, but basically all you do is clean area with alcholol (I used de - icer!)Shake the tin and off you go.Not bad for first attempt, but probably will re do, being plastic should resist chipping alot better than paint tooGrill...Rear trim, and close up of metalflake top coat (looks great in the flesh)
