retroed
Here's my old MB6 VTiS. Bought stock in March 2005 (94k) for £2995, sold in February 2013 (194k) for £950.The Auto Trader ad. retroed
Fitting my front speakersOut with the old, in with the new.Held up the spacer and drilled four holes into the door.I bought some speaker adaptor leads from eBay, to save me having to hack the block off the OE wiring. These just clip into existing wiring and on to the new speakers. Cost £3.89.Repairing the heater resistor packRemoved glovebox via two screws underneath the box, then removed the offending resistor pack.Broken!Fixed, and now all heater settings work as they should. Total cost, £7.49.

retroed
Thanks all. I bought a VTi lip today, in black. Once it arrives I'll put it on as is for a while, but will likely end up getting it painted blue at some point.

retroed
Oh yes! I think I'm going to try the baking tray method to get the lenses off. When I de-tangoed the lights on my MB6 I managed to get the orange filters out by cutting it with a fine hacksaw blade, so didn't have to remove the lenses. I hope I don't mess it up as they're my only set.
retroed
They twist out without having to remove the lenses? It was a long time ago, but I'm sure I ended up cutting them and pulling/shaking the pieces out of the indicator hole. I could be thinking of something else, though. Maybe it was pliers, and not a hacksaw blade?! With the hair dryer method, did you have to use silicone sealant to stick them back together?
