skitzma8
Basically I came round a left bend at 30mph and some idiot was driving on the wrong side of the road so I swerved and hit the drivers side front wheel, there's a big chunk taken out of the alloy, but it doesn't look like its done any damage to suspension etc... But when I drive it seems like its on a flat tyre and the car shakes/wobbles could this be a bent rim?
KiNK43
Assuming nothing's bent. You probably buckled your wheel.
Mr Brown
Ditto Do you have the spare in the boot if so whack it on and see if the wobble goes
NIKH25
As above and the wheel will probably be out of balance too.
skitzma8
I'm going to slap the spare wheel on and see if she still wobbles, fingers crossed its just a knackerd rim, good job that I'm going to buy a new set, I know it would have knocked the tracking out but aslong as nothing else is bent its ok, ill post back how she drives soon. :/
WilkesyMB6
After putting the spare on i would get the tracking looked at, as otherwise it will wear your tyres out if they are out of alignment.
skitzma8
I took the wheel off and it looked egg shaped lol, I put the spare on then went to my local breakers yard and picked up some nice 8 spoke honda alloys off an ep the car drives perfect again now, but going to get the tracking sorted tomoz
