KiNK43 Posted February 17, 2011 Author Share Posted February 17, 2011 absolutely bobbed myself today..pulled up nipped in the house to grab something, came out and petrol everywhere!absolutely gushing out!jacked her up took away cowling next to tank.fuel line had rotted through so replaced with flexible fuel line.crazy imagine if someone had chucked a cig out there window at traffic lights. kaboom!did think my petrol was disapearing rather quickly!carbon up my chrome boot strip now too. soo will get some pics up. not that anyone really checks this thread. hahaha.oh well its nice to have a diary for myself! KiNK43 Posted February 18, 2011 Author Share Posted February 18, 2011 yes im regularly looking at how to's and manuals etc. slowly, now as i look at the box sitting there i think ahh only a few nuts n bolts to do up. so i think im ready! haha.can see it now first drive, torque steer into a bush. keep being told im stupid for ditching the lsd.but im not convinced. think it should benefit nicely from the shorter ratios. Also to see what its like to go around a corner quite fast. You will have to report back once its in!I have a S80 sat around that will be fitted shortly so will have the same ratios, i cant wait to see if the difference is as big as everyone says it is.
