Ok thanks mate. I did add another last night. I put one from the back of the rocker cover onto the the shock turret. Looks quite cool aswell.

The cable is definately adequate.for the job. It's welding cables. Very thick but flexible.copper.

i will do, need to get some more cable now though! hard stuff to get unless you want a 100 meter reel at about a kazillion pounds.

i have a friend who works for a company that solely refurbs calipers. they had these sat on a shelf so i got a very good price indeed!

ready to go on tomorow. first time ive done rear calipers so should be interesting.

well the rears are finished.I've only took em for a quick spin round the block so they are all black. Look really cool. Will put up a pic later.

Were a complete nightmare. The hand brake cable pin was stuck both sides so had to drill em out.

One side the handbrake was seized on. Wheel bearing that side feels bit ropey too. I guess from the excess heat.

Turns out the cable the same side was seized. So had to free and lubricated that and readjust it all.

And I was right. Mintex pads are crap! I had to grind all of the rear pads to get them to fit in the carrier. They were all different sizes. Poorly made. Will buy ebc again next time.

but wow i can use the hand brake now and not keep leaving in gear. wahoo

Looks good but weird mate, if you know what i mean? Have you got any pics that are a bit further away? Do they look like drums now, as you cant see the disk as clear?

Also how long do you think the disk will stay black?
