Roylewaa
I changed the matrix on a escort cabby a few years ago so I know it's a nightmare, it took me all day:(Theyres no wet carpets though, just a strong stink when the interior heating is on, it's that hot celery smell that I complained about a while back. As when I asked a mechanic what the smell was he said straight away it was hot coolant, on a plus though he highly doubted it was the head gasketTypical, I was just starting to trust it again
Roylewaa
Little updateI've spoken to 2 mechanics, 1 a Honda tech who both say without any doubt it's the water pump I've checked the matrix and from what I can see they're are no visible leaksSeen as the cambelt or water pump have been on for 116k miles I will get them done, guy over the road says he can do it for me I'm still not convinced though :/
