on the video at 1st thats how its running cuts out once i give throttle 

 

once map senor is off i can rev for a few seconds then as you see doesn't let me and cuts out i give it any throttle 

 

really fed up love this car really don't want to give up yet but finding it hard not too

Sorry to hear about all the problems your having.

What was wrong with the dowel?

You should do a compression test or even better cylinder leakage test before swapping bits.

Very frustrating when things go wrong like this, the only way to fix really is to go through the basics and go from there.

ok so the cars still not running right but am not getting rid of it now i know it will get sorted 

 

more forward did a few bits that needed doing yesterday and today
