well spoke to him now, i actually owe him some money on it but we have agreed it needs those parts sorting out so hes lowered what i owe him, its not a big amount but enough to sort the new starter motor, new sump and a new filter so hopefully if i can discover which are the right parts i need ill order them and we get going again.

Going to pull the carb off and clean it as its got bit of foam in there now.

Never give up as she a rare gem n will only go up in value n as for the gearbox mount i think you can get custom ones for the t5 as that used to be a common conversion if u can find one. I cant wait too c more of this car

Thing that worries me is when you mentioned the exposed flywheel, sure that's not right at all....

x2, surely you could end up with cr4p in the gearbox and allsorts. :(

Look forward to a vid.

I would say that's probably what's causing the problems with the shifter!

this a pic of the bodge linkage, the 2 pipes from this lever go to the oil catch can, i dont know if this is fine or its something that has been done just to get it working ?

Also ordering bits from Real Steel, really cool website and cuts out the shipping cost i would pay from the US. Its a bad place for my wallet lol!!!
