Gilman
Bit of a two part question.Seen a toyo 2.5" cat back system for mb6 vti on toyo website for £260ish. Looks pretty good to me and price seems reasonable.Though before i order i would ask the loverly folks here if its worth getting.Has anyone on here got one fitted to there vtis? Has it been good, sound ok? Also what is my best option for manifold. Heard lots of bad things about cheep ebay ones but £400+ from the likes of tegiwa or skunk seem a bit expensive. I could push the budget to get one but only if its really gona be worth it. Is there any sort of mid range one to look for? KiNK43
I have fitted a couple of toyo exhausts on subarus and to be fair there pretty good. Hangers need tweaking etc but nothing major. As for manifolds I bought a 90 quid eBay one. It was crap. Replaced it with a 180 quid eBay one. And that's really stunning! Grant
I'm of the same opinion as Jake, I bought a £200 eBay mani and never had a problem with it. Welds were lovely.
Gilman
Ah ok so ebay is ok as long as you pay the rite money. Makes sence i guess. Will the toyo system be really loud with a 4-2-1 mani and fast flow cat?
Krzys
Tom has a Japspeed manifold on his MC2, had the 4-1 and sports cat but has now just fitted a 4-2-1 with the sports cat!
Krzys
And from what I have seen a 4-2-1 is quiter than a 4-1. Must be nicer on the droning front!? Can't stand it when cruising at 70!

Jayhoath83
From wat ive heard the 4-2-1 systems are better for ur engine as they give the right amount of back pressure giving a good amount of mid range torque

I know it's said they give better low-mid range, suppose it makes sense though! Must be why the Type R's still have that set up from factory!
