poly bushes/gear change

Personally noticed no difference changing shifter bushes to poly.

Sure someone would disagree tho

Haven't had it done in a Honda, experienced it with a Leon Cupra R which I thought felt much better to use after. Different cars though so may not really mean anything here.

I fitted energy suspension shifter polybushes along with a buddyclub dual bend short shifter to my ek4, what a difference! Something I really want to do to my deck as it feels a bit sloppy. Also read that the knuckle joint on the end I the linkage can become worn and folk strip them and replace the washers and can make a big difference if worn.

Defo that universal joint. If ya got side to side slop. That's likely where it comes from.

Are we talking about the linkage up at the bottom of the shifter? Or down by the box ? Mine still suffers from a little side to side action ;-)
