Krzys
Not to mention that it is just stupid really given the tyre was never designed to be fitted like that....

Grant
Yeah but there is no specifics??? So there is no guidelines for coppers to base it on it will just be their opinions .. Which we all know are wank ..
Jayhoath83
My m8 ollie found this on a police forum n theres a lot of coppers itching to pull people for it basically its all down to the type approval of ur car as to what tyres are allowed to be fitted im guessing if a copper pulls u to check wat tyres ur running their database will tell them what you should have Theres a list aparrantly of type approval somewhere in the in the section 40a of the traffic act
Krzys
What abour shitty budgets. They should be banned first! That's probably the only tyre properly fitted that would have less grip!
Grant
Yeah but if you go to some tyre garages there was someone on here who had the issue, they could only sell the recomdend 195/55 r15 and not the 50 profile .. And yet they are perfectly safe etc .. So if their going to use that sort of data base then we're all fooked !
