But not to worry as I've got one on order from euro car parts should be with me tomorrow, that's if the idiots bring me the correct part! skitzma8 Posted March 8, 2015 Author Share Posted March 8, 2015 seing as the driveshaft snapped on my Ek I thought it was time to change the gearbox for an Ej9 one as it has a shorter final drive, I also replaced the clutch for a brand new one at the same time. This is the 2nd time I've done a clutch and gear box swap on a D series and it's so easy to do and I didn't even have to use any specialised tools! skitzma8 Posted March 9, 2015 Author Share Posted March 9, 2015 My nice new drive shaft arrived today 😀 and they actually delivered the right part for once! It is now fitted and I've been out bedding the new clutch in, and the Ej9 gearbox is much better than my original one.
